THE LIBRARY CELEBRATED ITS 2ND ANNIVERSARY!
The Library celebrated its 2nd Anniversary January 10th with the Lakewood Ranch School of Rock’s House Band on the Rooftop! The concert paid homage to The Beatles legendary rooftop concert in January of 1969.
There are seven Manatee Libraries funded in part by Manatee County. The library county budgets do not include funds for all programs, equipment, services and special collections. Each library has a Friends organization that provides support for advocacy and fundraising. The Friends of the LWR Library fundraising efforts include the Book Nook, special events, donations, memberships and grants. These funds are critical to enhance what is already provided to meet the needs of our community.
