Blind Date with a Book Attendee

The Friends of the Lakewood Ranch Library have set you up on a blind date. Your date will be at the library, a safe location, you will be “showered” with chocolate, and you’ll get to pick your date out of several candidates.

You are invited to A Blind Date with a Book as a thank you to our wonderful members. You’ll arrive at the Lakewood Ranch Library on February 14 between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm to pick your choice of Kraft paper wrapped books noted with clues that hint at what’s inside. You’ll also receive a chocolate gift to enjoy as you get to know your new acquaintance. All free, and you don’t even have to worry about what to wear when you meet your blind date.

This members-only event is on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the LWR Library, Event Room B. Registration opens January 14, 2026 and the event is limited to 50 participants.

Please be sure to register and you are welcome to bring a guest who is not a member. (Be sure to register your guest too. You will receive a special thank you.)
